Micro-Tech Endoscopy Hosts Cholangioscopy Training Course in Bolton, Massachusetts

Micro-Tech Endoscopy brings together physicians from across the country and Latin America for an immersive, hands-on cholangioscopy training experience at EndoSim USA Training Center.

Micro-Tech Endoscopy hosted a cholangioscopy training course on June 6 at EndoSim USA Training Center in Bolton, Massachusetts, as part of its INSPIRE.YOU program. INSPIRE.YOU is Micro-Tech’s platform for individual, hands-on professional training, designed to support the ongoing development of physicians, nurses, and other clinicians alongside advancements in technology and technique. The one-day course brought together physicians from across the United States and several from Latin America for an intensive learning experience focused on the diagnosis and treatment of pancreaticobiliary disorders.

The course was led by two distinguished faculty members: Mouen A. Khashab, MD, Director of Therapeutic Endoscopy and Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Linda S. Lee, MD, FACG, FASGE, Medical Director of Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Under their guidance, participants worked through hands-on sessions using explant tissue, gaining direct practice in cholangioscopy techniques while receiving expert instruction on procedural nuances and complication management.

The curriculum was designed to meet physicians at any experience level, from advanced endoscopy trainees to established endoscopists looking to refine their approach. Sessions covered the full scope of cholangioscopy practice, including device selection, stone management, stricture evaluation, complication management, and clinical decision-making. Throughout, attendees had the opportunity to work hands-on with Micro-Tech’s cholangioscopy portfolio, gaining direct familiarity with the tools available to support their practice.
